SATURDAY 23 NOVEMBER: BERWICK SUGAR CRAFT GROUP OPEN AFTERNOON 1-4PM. Bring your Christmas cake along and decorate it with help from the experts. Mo will also be doing a hands on workshop making sugar paste decorations. Icing etc will be available to purchase on the day. Ticket price £5.00, includes refreshments.

TUESDAY 26TH NOVEMBER: THE ORIGINS OF CINEMA – TALK BY MARIA CHESTER – DOORS OPEN 7PM. Organised by Horncliffe Arts Society. The presentation will describe the early beginnings of the cinema industry in France during the Belle Epoque – the years between 1890 & 1914. SUNDAY 22 DECEMBER: CAROL SERVICE. – 7PM. Please come, all welcome. Local singers, musicians and readers are invited to get together to begin practicing carols for the service.
